JOHN PRINK - DRUMS / VOCALS

His Vision

John is driven to establish GOING TO A GO GO as one of the iconic bands to emerge from Florida's Treasure Coast.

His Values

John is all about bringing his A-game musically to every GOING TO A GO GO gig! He's dedicated to pumping out those positive vibes from the stage and letting the music do its thing – whether it's lifting someone's spirits or just giving the crowd a massive dose of the great tunes they came for

His Experience

John's journey began in New York City, leading to a 29-year career dedicated to law enforcement. His roles spanned from police officer and deputy sheriff/coroner to detective and criminal investigator, taking him from the East Coast to the San Francisco Bay Area. This chapter followed four years of active duty and two years in the reserves with the United States Coast Guard, where he served as a Gunner's Mate patrolling the Atlantic and Pacific waters.

Throughout his life, John harbored a fascination with the supernatural, a curiosity sparked by living in several haunted apartments in NYC and Long Island, as well as a haunted childhood home. This interest became a passion after his 2015 retirement from police work. A ghost hunt in Alameda, California, proved to be a pivotal moment, leading him to join the Orlando-based paranormal investigation group, Blood Moon Paranormal, where he focused on residential cases. A particularly impactful experience as a Solano County Coroner’s Investigator in the mid-2000s inspired him to write an episode for the Canadian television show "Paranormal Emergency." He successfully pitched the idea in 2018, and the episode was filmed in Miami and Ontario. His unique insights also led to an invitation from Dave Schrader of "The Holzer Files" and "Ghosts of Devil’s Perch" to appear on "The Paranormal 60" in October 2022, where he shared his coroner's investigator experience.

When not immersed in the paranormal, John enjoys a diverse range of activities. He can be found in his home gym, by his pool, riding his Triumph motorcycle or driving his vintage Porsche. Music is another significant part of his life, as he plays drums in two bands: Blue Revival, a rock, blues, and country power trio based in Cocoa, Florida, and Going To A Go Go, a surf, classic rock, and psychedelic rock ensemble on the Treasure Coast. He also frequently collaborates with other bands and records drum tracks. John's creative endeavors extend beyond music, with acting and modeling credits in projects like "Paranormal Emergency" (2018), "Running Wild" (2015), and the local Florida films "Shadows" and "Wedlock" (2024), as well as radio appearances. He is an active member of ASCAP and holds an IMDb listing.

ELLIOT JACOBY - GUITAR / VOCALS

His Vision

Being part of an exciting fun band whose members share the same commitment and good vibes. Looking forward to getting Going to a Go Go to the next level.  I'm driven to be part of a high-energy, fun band with members who are just as committed and positive as I am.

His Values

Music is the light I strive to spread, and for more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of teaching guitar to Veterans at VA clinics across New Jersey and Florida. Giving back also means offering free lessons to guitarists looking to advance their skills. My lifelong connection with music has been incredibly powerful, helping me navigate even the challenges of a rare cancer and chemotherapy, never missing a gig – the show truly must go on.

His Experience

My involvement in the music scene has been extensive, ranging from behind the scenes as a road manager for various artists and on the air as a New York disc jockey, to performing live for many years with numerous bands in New Jersey and New York.
